Maggie Yumi Brown (born April 13) is an Asian-American plus-size fashion model, host and actress. Born in Montana but raised in Kailua, Hawaii, Maggie holds a degree in Biology, allied health, and a secondary teaching certificate.

Maggie Brown (aka MaggieB) got her big break when, in November 2006, she won "Tyra's Thick and Sexy Top Model Contest" on The Tyra Banks Show. She was literally “plucked” from her life as an 8th grade science teacher and tossed into the ocean of the Fashion/Entertainment industry. Her title included modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models, a 1000$ from Lane Bryant, and photo shoot for an editorial in Bombshell Magazine. Since winning the Thick and Sexy Top Model contest, she has been featured on various covers of magazines such as the December 2006 issue of Bombshell magazine and the August 2007 issue of Plus Model Magazine. She has also gone on to win "Igigi Model of the month"- August 2007. Maggie has appeared on various television broadcasts which include: AM Northwest, "Tyra Banks Show", "Entertainment Tonight, "The Insider", How to look Good Naked (season 1 and 2) with Carson Kressly, and How Do I Look among many others. Maggie is currently working as a television host and has recently signed on to be a redcarpet correspondent and host for RealTVfilms. In addition to television appearances, Maggie has modeled for or been featured in: Wal-mart, Nordstrom, Mervyn's, Marshalls, Gottshalks, Torrid 's online catalog, Cherished woman, Redbook, and Plus Model magazine. She recently shot the current campaign (Spring 2009) for SVOBODA jeans (by Jessica Svoboda) and can be seen in the spring 2009 campaign for Target. She recently made the leap to the fashion industry in Canada, where she will be representing plus size women for the client Laura Canada.

Maggie can also be seen working the catwalk in various fashion show which have included: Rock the Runway, Macy’s, Love Your Body Day Fashion show, Style Magazine’s Spring Fashion show for Dress Barn, and LA fashion week’s Spring 2009 Re(define) (Real)ity fashion show featuring Little in the Middle Jeans.
